The route is easy, suitable for everyone and walks on a constant altitude as it follows the water channel. The water conduit is either built or carved into the rocks.

The project, a remnant of Hadrian's aqueduct, led the water of Goura to the estates of Eleonas in Athens.

The route follows the stone waterconduit first, then goes in a bare field and then through the forests as it is directed towards the stream and the water supply.
