Erymanthos, the fourth highest mountain of the Peloponnese with an altitude of 2,224m stands out for its impressive and wild landscapes, dense vegetation, scattered springs, steep ravines, imposing rocks and caves. Erymanthos offers a rich field for mountaineering, hiking, climbing and cycling. The map shows many marked and unmarked trails that run through the entire mountain massif. Mt Erymanthos in a series of waterproof and tear-resistant hiking maps at scales varying from 1:50,000 to 1:10,000, with a UTM grid for GPS users. Contour interval varies depending on the scale, on most maps it is 20m. Relief shading, spot heights, springs, seasonal streams and, in most titles, landscape/land-use variations, e.g. forests, orchards, or vineyards provide additional information on the terrain. Place names are given in both Greek and Latin script.
Local footpaths, hostels and mountain huts are clearly marked. For road users intermediate driving distances and petrol stations are shown. Symbols highlight places of interest, including archaeological sites, churches and monasteries, etc. The maps have a UTM grid and margin ticks for latitude and longitude. Map legend includes English.
*In this title:* an area approx. 20km east-west by 11km north-south, centred on the Erymanthos ridge. The map extends west to the villages Aghios Dhimitrios, Velimachi and Kalendzi, eastwards to Trechlo, Manesi and Bouboukas, northwards to Neo Khombighadhi, and south to Platanitsa. On the reverse is a simplified version of the same map without the topographic detail, simply highlighting roads and hiking routes, with useful annotations for hikers.

After the map is purchased and downloaded, the application works offline. The map is identical to the printed one and shows your location in the center of the screen. We can also choose one of the proposed routes to follow.
The digital maps available from our online store are geo-referenced map images in 3 different formats. All three are included in the compressed zip file.
1. Map image georeferenced in GGRS87, the Greek Geodetic Reference System (filename *87.tif), which can be used in GIS programs or other cartographic data management programs.
2. Map image georeferenced in WGS84, the global geodetic reference system (filename *84.tif), which can be used in GIS programs or cartographic data management programs.
3. Map image in Kmz format, which can be loaded on most new Garmin GPS models. Please check out the Garmin site to see if your GPS model supports "Custom Maps".
We recommend to use the digital map always in combination with the paper map that gives us a complete overview of the area and is useful when planning our journey.
It is forbidden to copy and distribute the digital files. They can only be printed for non-commercial use.
