On the island of Hydra time has stopped at the beginning of the 20th century. The absence of vehicles on the island is unique in Greece. After spending a few days on the island, one will experience a profound calm. The only sounds will be of the mules horseshoes on the cobbled streets, the whistling of the wind coming through the windows and the whispers of the night.
When walking on the island one goes back in time and enjoys the walks through the pine tree forests, or on the barren landscape but all the while gazing at the shimmering sea that reaches into the horizon.
